POSITION SUMMARY

KLC Financial, Inc an established and a fast-growing equipment finance company is looking for motivated and passionate individuals to fill a Business Development Associate position.  The ideal candidate will have 1- 5 years of experience in customer service, sales, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, or other professional work experiences.  They must have a proven track record of successful achievements whether in business, academics, athletics, or other special interests. This person must want to work in a team environment and be driven to help the success of the team, while also growing personally.

This individual will be responsible for helping the sales team in various roles from customer support, administrative duties, as well as developing customer relationships with new and existing customers.  The right candidate should be a driven self-starter, always looking for more opportunities to learn and improve.  In this position, the individual will be asked to put on multiple hats and deal with a few different aspects of the business. This will help with development and understanding of the business. A list of keys that would lead to success are organization, timely and accurate task completion, and the creative ability to be able to talk to anyone that could assist with growing the business. The team at KLC is driving towards success and the individual that comes on, will feel this, and can add to that, with unlimited opportunity to grow.

EDUCATION, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE, SPECIALIZED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • College Education or Tech school
  • Salesforce knowledge and proficiency is a plus
  • Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and active listening
  • Coachable and Team Player

REQUIREMENTS

  • Very limited travel but must have the ability to travel locally as needed, maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and timely
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-Starter and Organized
  • This position will be located at our offices in Minnetonka, MN, with flexibility to work remote as needed
