We are seeking a driven, growth-minded accounting professional to join our team. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. They will work under the guidance and direction of the Accounts Payable Lead to help KLC accomplish its company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage invoices, approvals, and prepare payments via check, wire & ACH.
  • Enter invoices, credit card charges, and payments into QuickBooks and Leasepath.
  • Process employee expense reports.
  • Organize payments and supporting documents.
  • Complete a monthly credit card reconciliation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements

Skills/Experience/Education

  • High school diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline, preferred; or a combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable Experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with QuickBooks, preferred.
  • Experience within the banking or financial services industry, preferred.
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills 
  • Detailed-oriented. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required; must be able to communicate and interact effectively with both internal and external clients at all levels.
  • Good judgment skills and initiative.
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to maintain a professional demeanor in tight deadline situations. 
  • Self-Starter. Must have the ability to independently handle a large and diverse number of tasks, and issues with urgency, tact, and persistence with minimal supervision.   

Essential Mental & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions. 
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
