FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MINNETONKA, MINN. — June 23, 2026 — KLC Financial has been named a 2026 Top Workplace by the Star Tribune, marking the third consecutive year the company has received the honor.

The Top Workplaces designation is based entirely on anonymous employee feedback collected through a confidential, third-party survey administered by Energage, an independent organization specializing in workplace culture research. The survey measures key drivers of engagement, including leadership, communication, alignment, and opportunities for growth.

This recognition comes on the heels of KLC Financial also being named one of Monitor’s Best Companies in Equipment Finance in the culture category, further reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to building a strong internal culture.

“For us, this comes down to consistency,” said Shannon Smith, CEO of KLC Financial. “Winning three years in a row reflects a culture we’ve built over time and continue to invest in every day. It’s something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Over the past year, KLC has remained focused on strengthening employee engagement while continuing to grow. The company has expanded development opportunities, reinforced clear career paths, and maintained an open, collaborative environment across teams. Employees benefit from flexibility, strong team connection, and a leadership approach centered on clarity, accountability, and alignment.

“We’ve worked hard to grow without losing what makes this place special,” said Lesley Farmer, Business Development at KLC Financial. “It’s a culture where people genuinely enjoy working together, feel supported, and can see a long-term future here.”

Earning this recognition for a third straight year highlights KLC’s ability to scale while staying true to the culture that has defined the company for nearly four decades.
