KLC Customers in the News: Fall Edition
KLC Financial has helped businesses get the financing they need to grow their businesses since 1987. One important measure of our success has always been the success of our customers. Today we are proud to highlight four KLC customers in the news for their achievements. You may recall seeing Mercury Mosaics and No Sweat Co in previous articles. They continue to get press for their accomplishments and we couldn’t be happier to showcase them again!
Red Wagon Pizza Company
Red Wagon Pizza Company got its start as a part time gig for owners Pete and Jacquie Campbell, when they brought their farm-to-table pizzas to the Linden Hills Farmers’ Market. Today, Red Wagon Pizza Company is a successful restaurant in Minneapolis, using locally sourced produce and meats in their wood-fired pizzas. The restaurant received a major boost by a feature on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Mercury Mosaics
Mercury Mosaics is a handcrafted tile shop in Northeast Minneapolis. It started with one woman’s dream of creating beautiful handmade tile mosaics in her art studio. That dream has grown to a massive 15,000 square foot factory. Here, the 33 person team proudly hand cuts and glazes each tile using locally sourced clay, glaze and shipping materials. Last year the company saw $2.2 million in revenue, driven by sales to kitchen and bath designers and other commercial customers.
The Star Tribune recently featured Mercury Mosaics and owner Mercedes Austin.
No Sweat
No Sweat is a liner, made 100% in the USA, for any sort of hat or helmet to keep them sweat, odor and stain free. What began as an idea for a college business class in 2008 grew into a successful business headquartered in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Many high profile customers such as the NHL, PGA, NASCAR, F1, Motocross, MLB, military and police use No Sweat liners.
