KLC Customers in the News: Summer Edition
We love our customers and we love celebrating their successes! Today we are proudly highlighting four KLC customers that are making headlines for their achievements. Congratulations to The Fehn Chair, St. Croix Valley Blow Molding, Butcher and the Boar, and Mucci’s for their impressive accomplishments!
The Fehn
The Fehn Chair is an innovative new product that allows users to easily switch between sitting and standing during their work time. Fehn founder Tom Derecktor says this chair was born out of necessity: sitting all day hurt his back, but standing desks hurt his back and his feet. Derecktor and his team worked with doctors, scientists, and athletes to come up with this unique solution. This truly is a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture and KLC is delighted to have been a part of the process.
St. Croix Valley Blow Molding
St. Croix Valley Blow Molding’s story is a remarkable lesson in hard work. It started in 2007 when owner Jim Bradac launched his new product, Ceme-Tube™. The product was a huge hit when it was first introduced, but no one could anticipate the economic downturn from 2008-2012. Bradac’s business suffered and as a result, his house was foreclosed on three times and he considered bankruptcy as well. Fast forward to 2019 and the business is running at full operation. Read the article to find out how Bradac’s large family, some barn cats, bargain-basement machinery and a whole lot of hard work got his business to where it is today.
Butcher and the Boar
To say that Butcher and the Boar has been a success in Minneapolis would be a huge understatement. Since 2012, they’ve been serving up delicious smoked meats, steaks, beer and bourbon, using the best locally sourced ingredients. They are about to open a second location in South Carolina this month. Back in the spring, the Butcher and the Boar team served lunch to the first responders and volunteers at the Sullivan’s Island Fire Department. Giving back to the community is an important part of the culture at Butcher and the Boar.
Mucci’s
Mucci’s, a modern Italian restaurant in St. Paul, has opened a new restaurant across the river in the Lyn/Lake neighborhood of Minneapolis. Though many of the favorites from St Paul made their way Minneapolis (hangover Kale, calamari and meatballs, to name a few), the new location has a few tricks up their sleeve.
KLC is incredibly proud to have been a part of the journey for these businesses and congratulates them for their successes.
