Spencer Thomas, CLFP

Spencer Thomas is the Chief Executive Officer at KLC Financial, a national equipment finance company. Leveraging over twenty years of industry experience, Spencer leads the KLC organization of 40+ people with a hyper-focus on ushering sustainable innovation at the intersection of business development, credit operations, and data science. He works with entrepreneurs, Fortune 5000 companies, and a wide range in between, providing structured financial solutions that enable them to realize their goals.

Before KLC Financial, Spencer served as the Executive Vice President at Lease Point.com , where he led the national sales and platform development efforts. In addition, Spencer has worked on the business development teams for both Frontier and McLeod USA.

Spencer received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting in 1994 from St. Mary’s University. He is a registered CLFP (Certified Lease & Finance Professional) and has spoken nationally about equipment financing, innovation and data science within credit operations. Spencer is also an active member in financial/industry associations including the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA), National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA), Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Risk Management Association (RMA), Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (AACFB), and Certified Lease &Finance Professionals (CLFP).
